Standing opposite "Asano Kiyoshi" was Kojiro, his face utterly lifeless.
Kojiro's face was covered in blood. Behind him lay the corpse of a middle-aged woman. The night was deathly still, as though they stood beneath some vast tomb.
He stared at the figure wielding Asano Kiyoshi's distinctive Ink Blade, his voice hoarse and dripping with hatred: "It was you... Why?"
Yet "Asano Kiyoshi" clearly had no intention of answering. He merely flicked his blade, splattering the still-warm blood across Kojiro's face.
Feeling the blood of his closest kin, Kojiro's eyes nearly split open. He drew his Zanpakuto, his body twisting into an utterly unnatural posture. His already half-white hair turned completely white! His skin withered and sagged, and his once-full body shriveled away!
But in exchange, he gained the strongest strike possible—one that burned away his life!
However, before the outcome could be seen, the blue screen vanished amid violent tremors, leaving behind only the final wet sound of a blade piercing flesh...
Based on the Zanpakuto's released form in the recording, the special Shinigami Uniform, and Kojiro's astonished reaction, it could almost be confirmed that the figure with his back to everyone was Asano Kiyoshi!
As the footage ended, Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi gave his answer: "Mm, everything shown in the records is real. But whether that person was actually Asano Kiyoshi, I don't know. Don't ask me. I'm only telling you that there are no signs of anyone having tampered with the records. As for whether they're true or
