After realizing what Asano Kiyoshi had said, Nel froze on the spot. A gust of wind swept through, making the already awkward atmosphere even more desolate.
Pesche and Dondochakka had also heard Nel's shout. Their bodies stiffened like stone, yet before they knew it, both had moved behind Nel, ready to protect her at any moment.
Nel forced an extremely stiff smile and carefully asked Asano Kiyoshi:
"Um, excuse me, are you talking about... those bad Shinigami who slash Hollows to death the moment they see them?"
