In the dorm room, Index finally seemed unable to endure it any longer. She slammed both hands down on the table, leaned forward, and spoke to Fang Li, who sat across from her with a stunned expression.
"Although you've managed to brush me off until now, today, you have to give me an explanation!"
Upon hearing Index say that, Fang Li had only one thought.
"What are you suddenly talking about?"
It was completely out of the blue.
Ever since the "collar" incident had ended, quite some time had passed.
Starting yesterday, Fang Li had finished his summer tutoring sessions and could finally begin his vacation.
After all, even summer tutoring could not go on forever. Teachers needed vacations too. In a city where students made up eighty percent of the total population, if they had to tutor students throughout the entire summer break, the teachers would undoubtedly die from overwork.
Therefore, the summer tutoring had only lasted around a week, from July 20th, when summer vacation began, to July 28th.
And today was already July 29th.
So, starting yesterday, Fang Li had finished his summer tutoring and could enjoy his own vacation until August 31st, when summer break ended.
Fang Li still remembered how happy Index had been when he returned yesterday and told her about it.
"So that means Fang Li can stay with me all the time from today onward?"
After Fang Li confirmed it, Index had even run happily around the room. If this had not been a boys' dormitory, and there had been neighbors around whom Index should have known, she would definitely have gone around enthusiastically sharing her joy with everyone, wouldn't she?
Wouldn't it be strange for such a happy Index to suddenly put on this aggressive posture today?
