Amid the hum, the electricity turned into beams of light once more. Like slithering snakes, they shot out from between the wings, traversed the entirety of Academy City in an instant, and landed in the forests beyond it.
"Boom—!"
With a terrifying roar, the ground shook.
Another astounding explosion razed one area outside Academy City to the ground, blasting a corner of the forest apart with shockwaves and reducing it to ruins.
Without a doubt, another magical faction's unit had been wiped out within those ruins.
The angel of the scientific world continued to eliminate the magical factions stationed outside Academy City at a slow yet remarkably steady pace.
Fighting back was impossible.
Running away was even more meaningless.
One by one, the magical faction units that had begun stirring after Frontier Wind invaded Academy City, ready at any moment to launch a full-scale assault and clean up the aftermath, could not escape their fate of annihilation. Even as they fled in panic amid overwhelming terror and miserable screams, nothing could change the outcome.
Kazari Hiyuka continued sniping the magical faction units outside Academy City in this manner.
As for Frontier Wind, who was inside Academy City, she was no longer within the range of the bombardment.
Although the Artificial Heavenly Realm had not fully unfolded due to its output being too low, and was currently only functioning within Academy City's Seventh District, at the very least, magic was not permitted to exist in the Seventh District.
