As Frontier Wind and Rearguard Water retreated, the disaster that had swept across all of Academy City finally came to an end.

The screen on the right showed Last Order lying on the operating table, glowing all over beneath Accelerator's gaze as her rapid breathing gradually calmed.
The screen in the middle displayed a brainwave frequency chart.
On it, the brainwaves of Last Order and all the Misaka Sisters had begun returning to normal. The reactions of Kazari Hiyuka and the AIM Diffusion Field around her were also gradually subsiding.
All of this was because the virus in Last Order's brain had been eliminated.
