The fire at Roswaal Mansion burned ever more fiercely, to the point where it was utterly impossible to put out.
The entire mansion had already been swallowed by blazing flames. From outside, only a wavering black silhouette could be seen; the estate itself was completely obscured.
Unless a mage like Roswaal used magic to extinguish it, there was no way to stop a fire of this magnitude.
This secondary residence of the Mathers Family would likely have to be declared a total loss here.

At what appeared to be a window, a corner of the mansion suddenly shattered, scattering burning rubble and glass.
A figure shot out from within and landed before the mansion, flicking his knight's coat to shake off the flames clinging to it.
Watching the mansion gradually turn into charred timber amid the blaze, Fang Li frowned deeply.
"Frederica still hasn't come out?"
Could something have gone wrong with the Forbidden Library, preventing the Opportunity Gate from working and leaving Frederica unable to find it?

Another crashing sound rang out as the mansion's front doors were violently blasted away, scattering flames in every direction.

Frederica rushed out of the inferno, coughing all the way.
