Amid a thunderous series of explosions, the wall of a sanctuary in Gate City shattered apart. A figure flew out from within, plunged into the ground, and, without losing any momentum, plowed through the earth. Walls and soil collapsed in its wake, buildings falling one after another as fierce winds and clouds of dust rose up.
The sight resembled a chain of volcanic eruptions, or wave after wave crashing and bursting apart. It was as though the entire Gate City, Pristella, had been gouged open by a savage wound, making for an utterly shocking spectacle.

The explosions boomed like thunder, sending clods of earth and chunks of stone flying through the air like a raging sandstorm.
Such astonishing destruction would have been entirely believable even if someone called it a natural disaster.
Yet in truth, it had merely been caused by someone getting kicked away.
