Like its exterior, Megumin's home was incredibly simple. There was barely any furniture, making one wonder whether anyone truly lived here. Even the living room contained only a low table. Visitors simply sat around it, yet there were not even any cushions, only a rug.

He was Megumin's father, Hyosaburo.

The one who said that sat beside Hyosaburo. She resembled Megumin somewhat, with long black hair and faint wrinkles at the corners of her eyes and mouth.

And so, under utterly baffling circumstances, Fang Li had met Megumin's parents.
Megumin sat beside Fang Li, calmly drinking water as though perfectly at ease.
