It naturally looked like a bear, but it was a massive beast completely covered in black fur, with powerful limbs and a burly physique. With a single swipe of its claws, if it hit, then regardless of how high an adventurer's level was, unless they specialized in defense or had defensive items to assist them, their head would be knocked clean off.
Because of that one-hit-kill power, this monster was called a One-Hit Bear.
To hunt such a monster, one either needed a powerful adventurer above level 30 or, at the very least, a standard adventurer party before even considering taking it on.
Therefore, a quest to subjugate such a powerful monster might hang on the bulletin board for a year or more in a town like Axel, where novice adventurers gathered, without anyone accepting it.
No one would have imagined that someone who had only just become an adventurer, was currently only level 1, could not even acquire a class, and had not learned a single skill would accept such a quest alone and come into the forest to hunt it.
