Over the next few days, Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness continued to idle around at home. Aside from helping Fang Li clean the house each day and fulfilling the bare minimum of their duties, they did not want to do anything else.

That genuinely surprised Fang Li.

Kazuma and Aqua were one thing.

If those two were left alone while someone else took care of their food and shelter, they would definitely turn into complete deadbeats who did not even want to move.

After all, Kazuma had originally been a shut-in NEET who had planned to leisurely live out the rest of his life on the one billion Eris he had earned before. Aqua, meanwhile, was the sort who went with the flow in every respect. If she saw others not working, she certainly would not want to work either.

So, there was nothing strange about those two becoming complete trash.

But it was rather strange for Megumin and Darkness to turn out like this.

No matter what, those two were both extremely restless types.

Normally, they would definitely say something like this...

"Let's hurry up and hunt monsters! My Explosion Magic is starving for action!"

"My body is starving for action too! Hurry up and find us a quest with an insanely powerful monster!"

Then they would pester Fang Li until he went out on quests with them.

Yet over the past few days, those two had been remarkably well-behaved and had not mentioned it at all.
