Early the next morning, Fang Li and the others packed their luggage, left the house, and arrived in front of a shop.
Fang Li was leading the way.
Behind him were Kazuma, Aqua, and Megumin, all brimming with enthusiasm despite the early hour, as well as Darkness, who was in the complete opposite state and looked utterly listless.
Even so, Darkness was still trying to persuade them.
"Won't you really reconsider? I'm begging you, please reconsider."
The fact that she had pleaded this much showed just how worried Darkness was.
"Say, Darkness, what exactly are you worried about?" Kazuma said, patting Darkness on the shoulder. "With Fang Li here, and with you, a hopeless female knight, actually being serious for once, plus me, we should be able to keep Aqua and Megumin under control no matter what, right?"
"Hey, shut-in NEET over there, you're taking the chance to spout nonsense again, aren't you?" Aqua said, pointing at Kazuma with her chin raised proudly. "Let me warn you, I have important business this time, so don't cause me any trouble."
"Don't you feel even a little guilty saying something like, 'Don't cause me any trouble'?" Kazuma shot back. "You're the one who calls herself a Goddess and causes the most trouble on a regular basis."
"What about me?" Megumin asked expectantly. "I haven't caused much trouble, have I?"
"Megumin, you don't feel guilty saying that either," Darkness could not help saying. "You cause trouble for everyone in Axel every single day."
And naturally, Darkness herself had caused no small amount of trouble for others as well.
In the end, these people started accusing each other without showing the slightest hint of self-reflection. They were so noisy that Fang Li felt like sewing all their mouths shut.
