By now, everyone had noticed that something was amiss.

At the very least, setting aside Aqua, whose intelligence was abysmally low, Kazuma and Megumin had both noticed something was up.

Those two had always been quite intelligent.

Megumin in particular was among the best of the Crimson Demon Clan in both magical power and intelligence. She seemed to have noticed something from the reactions of Fang Li, Alice, Kureia, and Rain. Ever since leaving the audience chamber, she had been staring intensely at Fang Li, to the point that he was getting annoyed.

Left with no choice, Fang Li dismissed all of those teammates who usually only caused trouble yet became absurdly perceptive at times like this. He planned to visit the Adventurer's Guild in the Royal Capital alone and see what was going on.

But before that, someone called out to him.

The one who stopped Fang Li was Rain.

No one knew where she had emerged from, but just as Fang Li was about to leave the royal castle, Rain suddenly appeared before him. Looking at him with complicated eyes, she said this.

"Lord Fang Li, Princess Alice requests your presence."

Was it really as expected?

Fang Li had thought that Alice might want to see him, but he had not expected it to happen so soon.

It seemed that princess really was lonely.

Thus, Fang Li could only follow Rain to the topmost floor of the royal castle.

Having already made his way through this place once before, Fang Li naturally knew that Alice's room was on the top floor of the royal castle.

Therefore, Rain could only be intending to take Fang Li to Alice's room.

There, Kureia stood outside the door, glaring at Fang Li with an expression that could only be described as bitter
