"Some weird people got tangled up with you?"

In the guest room, Fang Li sat on the sofa, listening to Kazuma, Megumin, and Darkness kneeling before him and explaining what had happened. He narrowed his eyes.

"Setting aside who these so-called weird people are, you must have done something seriously bad, right?"

Fang Li smiled at them.

"Anyway, tell me the entire sequence of events clearly and in full detail first."

Though he wore a smile, there was not the slightest hint of amusement in his eyes.

"Don't leave out a single word, and don't add your own subjective spin. Understood?"

Kazuma, Megumin, and Darkness immediately bowed their heads to the floor.

Then, through their halting explanations, Fang Li finally understood what had happened.

The cause of it all was simple. Aqua had grown restless in the royal castle, so she had gone out to stroll around the city with Kazuma, Megumin, and Darkness.

That should not have been a big deal.
