• Seja ran into the Swamp Forest while a mixed Hunting Squad of Gnolls, a Lizardfolk, and hyenas pursued her.
• The hunters caught up with Seja, and a Gnoll struck her with a club after she defied them and cursed Corrupted Faith.
• As Seja lay dying, she remembered her father’s murder by a corrupted priest and accepted the prospect of returning to Putu.
• Stinger Bees swarmed from the trees and drove off the Hunting Squad.
• Seja realized she might survive and crawled toward the swamp to hide.

Chen Yu watched Seja survive the Hunting Squad’s attack and decided to approach her, while she believed Putu had protected her. The chapter ended with Chen Yu speaking to Seja through the Sound Transmission Technique, astonishing her.
