They told him everything they could remember about their most recent food searches, down to the smallest detail. He Yin even told Chiba without hesitation about how Zong Mi had wanted to use the toilet, then been frightened into wetting himself by a rabbit.
Zong Mi naturally lodged a fierce protest, but under He Yin's gaze, his protest silently shrank away. In the end, Zong Mi's misfortune left a deep impression on Chiba.
Whenever this guy went out looking for things, he always made some sort of embarrassing blunder. He Yin had told him about roughly ten occasions when she had participated in food searches, and on eight of them, Zong Mi had done something every bit as embarrassing as "wetting himself because he was scared by a rabbit."
Chiba even felt that although Zong Mi had no particularly unusual expression on his face apart from his blush, he probably would not be able to hold his head up in front of Chiba for a very, very long time.
