Kushina looked at the tiny figure standing timidly at the door. Her anxious expression shifted into an indulgent smile as she asked.
Just moments ago, while preparing breakfast, she had heard a knock at the door. Since she had gotten up a little late today, she had rushed to answer it. When she opened the door, this tiny, delicate, adorable child, like a porcelain doll, was standing outside. He had already taken off his ninja shoes and neatly placed them to one side. His cute little toes curled slightly, and paired with his dark, glossy eyes that hung low and darted away now and then, it was obvious just how nervous and awkward he was.
"Good morning, Aunt Kushina."
Though he was nervous and awkward, the little child still gave a polite slight bow, clutching his little shoulder bag tightly in one hand as he greeted Kushina.
Clearly, the little child knew Kushina, and judging by the way he addressed her, they seemed fairly familiar with one another.
"It's fine, it's fine. Did you come to see Chiba?"
Seeing his proper manners, Kushina merely smiled and shook her head, indicating that he did not need to be so formal as she asked.
