"How much longer?"
Watching Hyuga Yukyō maintain his focused posture, Chiba's brow gradually furrowed. After silently glancing upward, he finally could not hold back any longer and spoke.
Chiba had waited nearly an hour since Hyuga Yukyō began deciphering it. In the meantime, he had even refined Itachi's teaching plan.
Yet Hyuga Yukyō remained engrossed in deciphering it, clearly still unable to crack it, and Chiba was beginning to grow impatient.
After all, Itachi was still upstairs waiting for him to teach him.
He could not spend the entire afternoon here.
"It will take some time."
Hyuga Yukyō did not even raise his head as he replied.
"Then I'll come back tonight."
Hearing that, Chiba took a light breath and slowly stood, preparing to take his leave.
There are only a few words in the cipher. Is it really that troublesome to decipher? The Two-Part Cipher System...
Was this cipher method really so complicated? A doubtful thought crossed his mind.
Though he had never systematically studied ciphers or codes, he had heard of the Two-Part Cipher System. It should not have been something so complicated.
Of course, Hyuga Shinsuke and Hyuga Yukyō might have improved it. Chiba could not be certain.
"Come back around the time you finish dinner."
Hyuga Yukyō gave him a deadline.
"Alright."
Chiba did not waste words. He rose and left, and as the door closed behind him, his figure disappeared through another exit of the underground chamber.
Then faint footsteps sounded, gradually fading away.
"Whew!"
Once Chiba's footsteps finally vanished, Hyuga Yukyō let out a long breath, seemingly greatly relieved.
Afterward, he frowned slightly, rose to his feet, and walked as quietly as possible to the wooden door Chiba had gone through. He gently pushed it open a crack, watched for a while, and
