Two days passed.
It seemed unlikely that he would learn everything before the camp ended.
That morning, the eighth day, Chiba sat at his desk. Beside him, Doctor Watanabe idly read a medical book. Scrolls were piled on the desk, nearly enough to block Chiba's face. After setting down his brush, he silently sighed.
Over the past two days, Chiba had begun some development work on the Caged Bird Seal during the day. At night, while Doctor Watanabe and Kakashi slept, he had entered the Sealed Space three times. He was no longer far from mastering one-tenth of that enormous and intricate Sealing Jutsu Formula, and what he had learned was now enough for him to begin related development and research.
However, those two days also made him realize that entering once a day was already the limit. Even if he entered a second time, the aftereffects made it impossible to achieve much. On the contrary, frequently using his Ninjutsu Talent to learn such an enormous and complicated Sealing Jutsu would only make the aftereffects increasingly severe.
On the first of those two days, after his second entry, he had learned less than one-twentieth of what he had learned the first time. Worse still, his head hurt so badly that he barely slept at all that day. Clearly, his brain was warning him that although his Ninjutsu Talent had "evolved," evolution came with its own drawbacks. The aftereffects that had not existed before were now becoming apparent.
No matter what, he had to use it wisely.
The most reasonable method was nothing more than once a day. When necessary, he might even need to stop for a day or two and let his brain rest properly.
By now, Chiba had gradually begun to feel it. Even using it once a
