With a puff, Chiba sat down on the cushion Kushina had prepared for him in the corridor outside the room, rubbed his stomach, and burped.
Finally finished...
That whole wild boar... even with five people eating it, it was still a struggle! After that burp, the first thing that came to Chiba's mind was the full-boar feast they had just had.
That nonsense about Kushina being a terrible cook and not knowing how to cook was all fake!
Kushina could absolutely be a chef! A master chef!
It seemed movie material really couldn't be trusted... No, perhaps that was not quite right. In the Road to Ninja movie, Sakura and Naruto entered the illusion of a small-scale Tsukuyomi created by Obito. In there, Neji, Tenten, Shino, Rock Lee... and the others all had personalities that were nearly the opposite of their original selves, or outright opposite. In the movie, Kushina's cooking did indeed seem terrible.
But considering those reversals, it was not strange that Kushina was exceptionally good at cooking.
