The most important one was that, before the fusion entity accepted that portion of memories, he was strictly forbidden from telling the fusion entity the whole truth.
The fusion entity had to accept those memories, absorb and merge with them, preferably by actively accepting them and personally experiencing them.
As for why it had to be done this way, even he did not know. The original had not copied over all of his memories and consciousness, and had not revealed why this small portion of memories had been removed. It seemed as if the original was guarding against the Sage of Six Paths and the World Will.
Now that the fusion entity was willing to try, he could finally rest easy.
To be honest, he had truly feared that this fusion entity would refuse to try and, because of the cruelty of those memories, ultimately delete them.
Having lost the original's primary personality consciousness, those memories were entirely at the mercy of this second personality consciousness—or rather, the fusion entity. And because of the Light Orb's abilities and the original's settings, all initiative rested in the second personality consciousness's hands. During the
