Looking at the dangerously blazing Black Flames before him, the mysterious figure in a Silver Moon Black Robe slowly raised his head and looked toward the white-robed, blood-moon figure that had suddenly appeared. From beneath his hood came a sigh that was both amused and helpless.
"I was only trying it. No matter how capable I am, I can't bring the dead back to life, can I? Do you have some deep misunderstanding about me?"
Then came a blandly mocking remark.
As that casual taunt rang out, a scarlet light slowly spiraled from beneath the Silver Moon Black Robe's hood. The burning black humanoid flames seemed to be drawn by something and began to whirl inward without end. In the end, they vanished as though sucked into the center of that spiral, revealing Gekko Hayate's corpse, with only his clothes burned black.
"Humph!"
Watching the Black Flames disappear, the figure in a white robe, his face likewise hidden beneath a hood and a bloody crescent embroidered on his garment, let out a soft snort.
"You've gotten quite skilled at using someone else's eyes."
Then came a cold, sarcastic jab.
"Oh? As if you aren't using someone else's eyes too."
The black-robed figure with the silver crescent seemed to sneer, immediately firing back without yielding an inch.
"Humph!"
Hearing this, the Blood Moon White Robe snorted again and said, "They were originally my eyes. They were merely entrusted to him from the moment he was born."
"Then if they were originally your eyes, why haven't you asked me for them back? Or rather, taken them back?"
The Silver Moon Black Robe spoke calmly.
"You!"
