Scarlet glinted within his bright red eyes. Standing atop the First Hokage's Hokage Rock Face, Uchiha Nobuhiko shifted his gaze slightly toward the Konoha Gate, where an enormous disturbance had erupted.
Or rather, the former gate. By now, a massive hole had been blasted through the high wall there. The road outside was visible at a glance. There was no longer anything that could be called a gate.
Still, he did have the means to make a show of force.
At this moment, Uchiha Nobuhiko, who had been keeping part of his attention on Taki Chiba's actions all along, frowned slightly after fixing his gaze on the scene. A thought crossed his mind.
Compared to everyone else, he could clearly see far more.
For an existence like him, one that had surpassed the Shinobi World and possessed Supreme Power, Taki Chiba might already be a godlike existence in the eyes of many. That much was evident from the fact that, after his return, many had begun calling him Konoha's Guardian God.
But to him, Taki Chiba was merely an opponent on the same level. On one hand, he disdained those people's title of guardian god. From what had just happened, the true threat Taki Chiba had displayed was neither knocking down one of the black-armored giant snakes, currently Konoha's greatest threat, with a single punch, nor frightening another away with a glance. It was the battlefield where Taki Chiba now stood.
