Harry hovered beneath the clouds, the Cloak of Levitation behind him flapping loudly in the howling hurricane. Looking down, he quickly pinpointed Steve's location through the Lending Contract.
Steve was now in the very center of the military base, inside a hidden room on the third underground level.
His vital signs were stable, so there was nothing to worry about.
After confirming that Steve was unharmed, Harry breathed a sigh of relief, then decided to give Hydra a little greeting.
But to his surprise, Hydra was even more impatient than he was.
The rocks covering the mountainside shifted rapidly, and hundreds of metal blast doors suddenly split open across the formerly smooth cliff face.
Amid the roar of hydraulic mechanisms, the metal doors rose swiftly, revealing pitch-black launch ports.
The next instant, a swarm of missiles wrapped in blue-violet exhaust flames surged forth. Their shrieks tore through the sky and shattered the clouds as they raced toward Harry!
