Mr. Weasley led the way, and everyone clutched their purchases as they hurried into the woods along the lantern-lit path.
They could hear thousands upon thousands of people moving around them, shouting, laughing, and singing in scattered bursts.
That feverish excitement was contagious, and even Harry found his spirits lifting involuntarily.
They walked through the woods for twenty minutes, talking and joking loudly along the way, before finally emerging from the other side. They found themselves in the shadow of an enormous stadium.
Harry could only see part of the magnificent walls surrounding the arena, but he could tell that it could easily hold ten cathedrals.
"It seats a hundred thousand spectators." Mr. Weasley noticed Harry staring at the stadium and smiled. "Five hundred Ministry of Magic employees worked on this for a whole year. Well? Magnificent, isn't it?"
Harry nodded slightly, unwilling to spoil Mr. Weasley's enthusiasm.
What lay before him was indeed magnificent, but only by Wizarding World standards.
He had once piloted a Floating City across different dimensions, fought in wars between civilizations in the universe, campaigned against Dimensional Demons within their dimensions, and battled a Celestial.
To him, all of this was merely ordinary. It could not stir even the slightest surprise in him.
That was why he wanted to reform the Wizarding World, raise its overall level of power, and construct mighty, majestic structures such as Floating Cities within it.
The Wizarding World was still rather backward, and much of that was due to its rotten system.
Otherwise, how could a world built upon Chaos Magic as its fundamental law, a world capable of mastering the powers of time and space, possibly be so weak?
