A group of wizards huddled tightly together, each holding a wand pointed upward as they advanced in unison, slowly moving across the grounds.
Harry narrowed his eyes and studied them carefully. They wore hoods over their heads and masks over their faces.
Above them, four struggling figures floated in the air, twisted into all manner of grotesque shapes. It was as though the masked wizards on the ground were puppeteers, while the people above them were marionettes controlled by invisible strings extending from their wands into the sky.
This was the Levitation Charm, an advanced form of it. It acted upon the four people's clothing, distributing the force evenly and allowing them to float through the air like kites, making everything appear natural.
More wizards joined the procession afterward, laughing loudly and pointing at the bodies floating overhead.
As the parade continued to grow, they became increasingly brazen, freely setting fire to the surrounding tents with their wands and using the Killing Curse to murder nearby wizards.
Harry recognized the people floating in midair. One of them was the campsite manager, Mr. Roberts, while the other three appeared to be his wife and children.
