Peter Parker

Even though Harry had turned her down, Gwen still walked alongside him.

After all, they shared a long stretch of the route Harry took to his part-time job.

They had always gone to and from school together.

As they headed down the stairs, Harry chatted with the beautiful Miss Gwen while greeting classmates along the way.

Suddenly, Harry stopped and looked ahead with a broad, doting smile.

Curiously following Harry's gaze, Gwen saw a familiar figure talking to a lively, pretty girl.

That familiar figure was none other than Harry's younger brother, Peter Parker!

After the girl left, Harry walked up behind Peter with a smile and patted him on the shoulder.

"Hey, Peter. If I'm not mistaken, you have a lovely date tonight!"

Compared to Harry, Peter was much quieter. Though he was equally outstanding academically, he was not good at socializing.

This worried Harry greatly. Peter was already in twelfth grade and still had not gotten his first girlfriend.

Harry had even been prepared to use his connections to introduce Peter to someone. It seemed he no longer needed to worry.

"That girl was really nice. You need to seize the opportunity!" Harry urged with concern.

But to his surprise, Peter stammered.

"No, it's not what you think. She just asked me to take a picture of her boyfriend's car and frame it as a birthday gift for him..."

The smile froze on Harry's face. "..."

He immediately changed the subject. "Oh, right. Aunt May made your favorite fruit pizza tonight. Let's hurry home. I've been looking forward to it for ages!"

The three of them headed outside, drawing the attention of students along the way.

Under the gazes of so many classmates, Peter felt uncomfortable. He had never been good at being the center of attention.

Yet he was also a little envious. He knew the students were not looking at them because of him.

Their eyes were merely drawn to the two most popular stars of Midtown School of Science and Technology. He was just an incidental extra.

Damn it, why is Harry so popular? We're brothers, so why are our lives and opportunities worlds apart?

Thinking of how Aunt May and Uncle Ben treated him compared to Harry, Peter felt even worse.

Damn it, why do Aunt May and Uncle Ben seem to like Harry more? I was here first!

The three continued outside and, upon reaching the plaza, stopped in unspoken understanding.

At the center of the field, a crowd of students had formed a circle. Boys and girls alike chanted rhythmically.

"Eat it! Eat it! Eat it!"

When the three pushed through the crowd, they saw what was happening in the middle.

Eugene Fleischer, Midtown School of Science and Technology's notorious bully, had lifted Gordon, one of Harry's classmates, and forced his head into a food tray, making him eat like a dog.

There was no doubt about it. This was blatant school bullying!

At that moment, Eugene noticed Peter in the crowd. His eyes lit up as he pressed Gordon's face into the rice, struck a pose, and called to Peter.

"Hey, Parker. Come take some cool pictures of us!"

The surrounding students showed no sympathy for the victim and wildly egged him on.

"Take the pictures, Peter! We all know you're the best photographer at Midtown School of Science and Technology!"

"That's right! Take some cool pictures of Eugene and Gordon, then put them up on the wall of honor!"

No matter how much everyone urged him on, how could kind-hearted Peter join them in bullying a fellow student?

He shook his head and firmly refused. "No, I won't take pictures like that. Let him go, man!"

But Eugene naturally refused. He glared fiercely at Peter and said in a low voice.

"Take the picture, Peter. Don't make me say it twice!"

Peter looked at Eugene's vicious expression and felt a little intimidated. But no matter how frightened he was, his kind nature would never let him abandon someone weaker. Like Harry, he was a good person.

Besides, he was not without support. Having lived with Harry for years, Peter knew just how remarkable Harry was!

So he shouted.

"Eugene! Let him go!"

Being shouted at by Peter made Eugene feel that his authority as the school bully had been challenged. He swept his gaze around, noticed the strange looks from the surrounding students, and immediately flew into a rage. Throwing Gordon aside, he charged at Peter.

"Peter, looks like you need a lesson!"

As a skinny academic star, how could Peter possibly be a match for the strong, well-built school bully?

Faced with Eugene's sudden punch, he had no time to react. The fist was about to smash heavily into his cheek.

But then, an arm suddenly appeared in front of Peter. To everyone's astonishment, Eugene's heavy punch was effortlessly stopped by a single hand!

Then they heard an angry voice beside them, and its owner was none other than Harry, the top student of their grade year after year!

They had never imagined that gentle, sunny Harry possessed such incredible strength. He had actually blocked the powerful punch of the much larger Eugene with ease!

Harry tightly gripped Eugene's fist, a faint anger on his face.

"Eugene, is bullying classmates fun? Want to try me instead?"

When Eugene saw Harry stop his punch, he was initially surprised. He had not expected such strength to be hidden inside Harry's seemingly slender body.

But after hearing the uproar around him, he stopped thinking about it. All he felt was an endless fury threatening to drown him.

How could Eugene, who had long acted arrogantly at school, tolerate someone else challenging his authority?

"Harry, let go of me! Don't think I won't hit you just because the teachers like you. If you don't move, I'll beat you up too!"

Harry shook his head. "Give it up. I definitely won't move aside, and I don't think you have what it takes to beat me."

Mocked by Harry, Eugene could no longer endure it. He fiercely swung his other fist at Harry's face.

But such a simple, straightforward attack was far too easy for Harry to block.

During his training at Kamar-Taj, both Wong and Mordo possessed fighting skills that Eugene could never compare to!

Harry suddenly seized Eugene's arm. As Eugene leaned forward, Harry hooked his leg behind Eugene's foot, sending him crashing hard to the ground.

Harry pinned Eugene's arms and pressed a knee into his back, preventing him from getting up.

After easily doing all that, Harry warned him amid the students' cries of surprise.

"Eugene, this is your last warning. If I see you bullying other students again, it won't end this easily!"

After leaving the gates of Midtown School of Science and Technology and stepping onto the leaf-strewn street, Gwen asked in surprise.

"Harry, I never knew you were so good at fighting!"
