Clark knew Harry's origins were mysterious, and that he would not make baseless claims. Worried, he asked:

"In most science fiction movies, the protagonist finds an ancient ruin on Earth and activates it. The ruin sends out a signal, drawing aliens to invade Earth.
"Tell me, after you activated that Kryptonian spaceship, could other Kryptonians come to Earth, slaughter humanity, and occupy the planet completely?
"After all, the AI aboard that Kryptonian spaceship said Krypton's energy was nearly depleted. They were desperate to move to another habitable planet.
"And Earth has been bathed in the light of a yellow sun for ages. Kryptonians would possess Superman-level power on Earth, making it undoubtedly an ideal habitable world for them.
"Most importantly, Kryptonians far surpass humans in both strength and technology.
"If a Kryptonian army came to Earth, humanity would have no ability to resist. By then, it would become a living Hell where billions died."
