What do you think about an alternate-choice side story after the main plot ends?

Brothers, lately a lot of readers have said they've been frustrated with this stretch, but if I went back and rewrote it from the beginning, not only would the workload be huge, it would also be easy to create logical problems.

But if I write a new side-story arc afterward, those issues won't exist. I suddenly had an idea: after the main story ends, I could write a side-story scenario involving different choices in a parallel timeline.

It would basically continue the usual harem formula. Starting from the Spirit Road arc, the protagonist's beloved son would leave home to gain experience, constantly running into all sorts of little-mother situations, with Luo Li, Ling Xi, and so on.

It feels like it could be pretty interesting. Everyone, vote on it—should I write a side story like this?
