Chapter Summaries

Zhongli, Gu Yue Na, and Narukami entered the Abyss and faced its gathered Emperors, who tried to suppress and attack Zhongli. Zhongli shielded his allies and handed Vortex Vanquisher to Narukami to guard the Abyss Tunnel as several Emperors launched another assault.

• The Abyss Moon Emperor destroyed the petrified Abyss Emperor, but the gathered Emperors found no soul or flesh in the shattered remains.

• Yuan Shang used Abyss Light to disguise his escape into the Abyss Tunnel, but Gu Yue Na restrained him so Narukami could strike.

Zhongli enhanced the girl’s inherited blade, Ming Shi, after she fulfilled his wish by ordering him food, then tried to persuade her to let him stay by her side. She refused, fearing his presence would endanger humanity, and the chapter ended when a signal sounded from the captain’s waist.

Daha Progenitor dismissed Dong’s report about Zhongli but sent Gith to investigate the human world, then descended there herself. In Seven City, she found the Scarlet Ancient God pinned by Zhongli’s spears and being attacked with the Golden Blade as Gith arrived in a massive suit of armor.

• The young man pulled Zhongli’s Golden Blade free and began striking the immobilized Scarlet Ancient God while Zhongli watched from afar and then left Seven City.
• Dong reported Zhongli’s presence to Daha Progenitor, who ordered Los to cut off one of Dong’s tails and sent Gith to investigate the human world.

The Gith Ancient God arrived to rescue the Scarlet Ancient God, but Morax’s eight Geo Spears suppressed him and let an ordinary youth wound him with the Golden Blade. On a rooftop, Daha El met Zhongli, mistook him for an ordinary passerby, and asked to go with him.

• The Gith Ancient God dismissed the supposed Demon God Morax and unleashed Filth Power over Seven City.
• Morax’s eight Geo Spears erased the Filth Power and forced Gith to his knees.
• A human youth approached Gith under the suppressive force and repeatedly cut him with the Golden Blade, inflicting Sacred Attribute injuries.

Zhongli gave a green God's Eye to a young man, then teleported Daha El to a giant Ancient God and killed it with an enormous Rock Spear. He brought Daha El home, where Zhong Li and Li Xinyue assessed the mysterious newcomer.

• Zhongli explained that his Rock Spears could draw on Geo Elemental Power to suppress Ancient Gods indefinitely, then teleported away with Daha El.
• Daha El questioned Zhongli about his power, and he revealed that he intended to visit the Ancient God Realm and had once destroyed the Abyss Plane.
