Morning Sun Purple Qi

Yu Xiaogang climbed the small hill in the dark and discovered that Soul Power really was a cure-all. Circulating it to his eyes improved his vision, letting him see the path beneath his feet even in the dim surroundings.

When Yu Xiaogang had first started climbing, his feet had felt a little sore. He circulated Soul Power through the tendons, meridians, and bones in his legs, and immediately felt his leg strength increase greatly.

"Looks like I need to come up with a movement technique for traveling faster, one that's at least no weaker than Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track!"

Yu Xiaogang could not help sighing. He now stood atop a protruding boulder on the hill, looking at the lush Blue Silver Grass all around him and the sea of flowers on the gentle slope not far away. He circulated the Life Nurturing Skill at full force, wanting to see whether he could absorb the purple qi that only appeared during the yin-yang transition at sunrise each day. After all, the novels and comics he had read on Earth in his previous life had all treated sunrise purple qi as high-grade energy. The purple energy entered his body with his breath, circulated once with the technique, then was expelled with his next breath.

Yu Xiaogang turned to look at his other Martial Soul, the Phone Martial Soul, and found that it had become even more exquisite. Mysterious Purple-Gold patterns had appeared across the back of the phone.

Perhaps sensing Yu Xiaogang's gaze, the phone screen lit up on its own. Light projected from above it, outlining a tiny palm-sized sprite.

She had a delicate little face, with enormous eyes taking up nearly half of it. Starlight glittered within her dazzling Purple-Gold eyes, framed by long lashes. She had long golden wavy hair, pointed elf ears, and two pairs of translucent wings behind her that radiated a Purple-Gold glow.

Using the discerning eye of a professional LSP, Yu Xiaogang estimated that her figure had the standard seven-head anime proportions. She was very well-endowed in front—he just feared her center of gravity might be unstable. She wore an extravagant outfit that seemed to belong only in anime, with white stockings beneath her short skirt and no shoes.
