Chapter Summaries

Xia Qiu sank Onigumo’s warship and hunted the Marines as they abandoned ship, using the storm and currents to separate them. After killing the stranded Marines, Xia Qiu finally swallowed Onigumo and swam away to absorb the energy.

• Onigumo watched Auston disappear beneath the sea, while Xia Qiu healed by devouring him and returned to damage the warship further.
• Xia Qiu widened the hull’s holes until the ship began sinking, and Onigumo ordered the Marines to abandon ship while leaving the imprisoned pirates to drown.
