The Dark Frogman demigod successfully used a divine art to curse Qin Shuang.

Qin Shuang was so weakened that she could barely control her Golden Crown Thunder Sparrow avatar, and she plummeted from the sky.

Before she hit the ground, holy golden light flashed across her body.

The curse was purified.

This was one of the protective trump cards her family had given her: Purification Divine Art, capable of cleansing away negative conditions.

Restored by the purification, Qin Shuang regained her strength. She beat her wings and condensed an enormous sphere of lightning, hurling it at the protective barrier rising over the Dark Frogman territory.

The tens of thousands of Thunder Sparrows under her command followed Qin Shuang's lead, spitting out powerful lightning spheres.

After three such volleys, the protective barrier shattered.

The Dark Frogman territory was once again laid bare before Qin Shuang.

Qin Shuang was delighted.

In this battle, she held every advantage. She would surely seize first place.

But at that moment, the Dark Frogman demigod unleashed his power again.

He cast a summoning divine art, calling forth a Mountain Swallowing Demonic Frog as large as a mountain.

The instant it appeared, it shot out a thousand-meter-long tongue and stuck Qin Shuang, who was soaring high in the sky.

The tremendous force from the tongue forcibly dragged her into the Mountain Swallowing Demonic Frog's belly.

Qin Shuang struggled inside its stomach, desperately unleashing lightning that scorched and numbed the surface of its internal organs, but it was useless.

The Mountain Swallowing Demonic Frog's body was simply too large. Spread over such a massive form, this amount of electricity was nowhere near enough to inflict a fatal wound.

Instead, the crushing pressure of its internal organs and the digestive fluids it secreted made Qin Shuang suffer terribly.

The Thunder Sparrow Retinue belonging to Qin Shuang cried out mournfully, releasing countless bolts of lightning, yet they still could not blast through the Mountain Swallowing Demonic Frog's thick hide.

Meanwhile, the Heroic Lifeforms of the Dark Frogman race used dark secret arts to shoot down large numbers of Thunder Sparrows.

Without Qin Shuang's command, the Thunder Sparrows were in an extremely passive position.

If the situation continued as it was, within three hours, every Thunder Sparrow would be slaughtered by the Dark Frogmen.

Trapped inside the Mountain Swallowing Demonic Frog's belly, Qin Shuang could not help but feel waves of despair.

Was she going to fail this assessment?

She still had so many trump cards she hadn't used!

"Where are you?" Han Wu could not make out where Qin Shuang was from the black-and-red intertwined layers of flesh and skin visible on the screen.

"None of your business," Qin Shuang replied irritably.

Han Wu had long grown used to Qin Shuang's foul temper and asked directly, "Want to cooperate?"

Qin Shuang stubbornly replied, "Why should I cooperate with you?"

Han Wu answered, "If you don't cooperate with me, in another ten minutes or so, all your Thunder Sparrows will be killed."

Qin Shuang had wanted to snap back with, "So what?" but in the end, she could not bring herself to say it.

These tens of thousands of Thunder Sparrows had all been painstakingly raised by her, especially the three Iron Crown Thunder Sparrows that had advanced into Heroic Lifeforms.

If they all died in the Demon Abyss Plane, it would be a devastating blow to her.

"Let's make this clear first. If we win, I want the Dark Frogman demigod's divine body. You can have everything else," Qin Shuang said. Her family was immensely wealthy; she truly did not care about the other things.

"Fine. Then quickly issue a divine decree and have your Thunder Sparrows come pick up my elite troops," Han Wu replied.

The screen showed his current predicament.

The Dark Frogmen lived in a swamp. The Thunder Sparrows could fly over without being affected much.

But Han Wu's Skeleton Soldier legion had to travel on foot.

More than a million Skeleton Soldiers had already sunk into the swamp.

Left with no other choice, Han Wu sought Qin Shuang's cooperation.

Qin Shuang had wanted to say, "As long as you agree to become my slave, I'll send Thunder Sparrows to pick you up."

But her situation was not much better than Han Wu's.

She herself was still waiting for Han Wu to save her.

Helplessly, she issued a Divine Decree. The surviving Thunder Sparrows broke away from their battle with the Dark Frogmen and charged toward the distant Skeleton Soldier legion.

Han Wu, meanwhile, directed a group of Iron Bone Skeletons to climb onto the Thunder Sparrows' backs. Once they flew above the Dark Frogman tribe, the skeletons dropped in free fall.

Quite a few Iron Bone Skeletons shattered into scraps from the impact, but Han Wu did not care.

Before he could send the skeleton army into the territory, these Iron Bone Skeletons would serve as the Bone Controller's source of bones for forming a Bone Giant.

Only then did the Dark Frogmen realize that a Skeleton Soldier legion was invading from outside.

The Dark Frogman demigod issued another Divine Decree: Attack, and destroy the Skeleton Soldier legion!

Several million Dark Frogmen surged out of the swamp and clashed with the Skeleton Soldiers.

Han Wu did not care in the slightest.

He was already riding an Iron Crown Thunder Sparrow, a Heroic Lifeform, and had arrived above the Dark Frogman tribe.

Below him lay bones piled several meters thick, providing convenience for his next move.

At Han Wu's command, the Heroic Lifeform Bone Controller descended!

Countless bone fragments were manipulated by the Bone Controller and fused into its body, transforming the weakest Heroic Lifeform, the Bone Controller, into a Bone Giant with the combat power of a supreme Heroic Lifeform.

The instant the Bone Giant took shape, the Dark Frogman demigod noticed this transcendent existence.

At once, five Dark Frogman Heroic Lifeforms joined forces to cast a darkness secret art, intending to restrain the Bone Giant's movements.

But they did not know that two more Heroic Lifeforms stood atop the Bone Giant's shoulders.

Skeleton race: Bone Reviver! And Minotaur race: Heroic Lifeform Minotaur Shaman.

The two leaped down from the Bone Giant. The Minotaur Shaman swung its stone-pillar totem, smashing apart swarms of encircling Dark Frogmen.

The Bone Reviver activated its ability: Area Revival.

Great swathes of pale Skeleton Soldiers crawled out from the Dark Frogmen's corpses.

The newly born Skeleton Soldiers once again battled the Dark Frogmen.

Above them, the Thunder Sparrows fully coordinated with the Skeleton Legion, unleashing relentless lightning strikes.

The tide of battle gradually began to turn.

But the Dark Frogman demigod was, after all, a demigod.

Seeing that its people could not withstand the combined forces of the Skeleton Legion and the Thunder Sparrows, it unleashed a divine spell once more.

Darkness Divine Spell: Nightfall Descends.

At that moment, boundless darkness shrouded the entire region. Everything vanished into the black, impossible to see clearly.

The Dark Frogmen were unaffected by the night, and could even receive darkness's blessing, becoming even stronger.

Large numbers of Skeleton Soldiers were slaughtered, while the Minotaur Shaman and Bone Reviver also fell into the predicament of being surrounded and attacked.

If they did not quickly find a way to resolve their current plight, only one outcome awaited Han Wu and Qin Shuang.

That was failure!
