The Terror of Being Ruled by the Bone Controller

For every Giant Mammoth that died, a Skeleton Mammoth rose to its feet.

Under the Bone Revivers' mass revival, the number of Skeleton Mammoths rapidly grew.

Only then did the demigod Elephant Lord realize the danger.

"Damn skeletons, like gum stuck to the sole of a shoe. But don't think this is enough to make a demigod submit!" Elephant Lord muttered as he issued a Divine Decree: "Giant War Mammoths, activate your ability: War Stomp!"

The 250 Giant War Mammoths' eyes instantly turned crimson. In a charging formation, their four feet thundered against the earth.

Every Skeleton Mammoth standing in their path had its bones shattered by the shockwaves unleashed by War Stomp, collapsing into heaps of broken bones.

Even the Giant Thunder Mammoths were caught in War Stomp's wake. Their shadows broke free of the Shadow Spike's restraints, regaining the ability to move.

With that, Elephant Lord had regained the advantage.

"Elephant Lord is mighty! Crush them! Crush those skeletons!" Stirred by the imposing momentum of the Giant Mammoth Legion, the spectators cheered Elephant Lord on.

On Han Wu's side, he had the Minotaur Race fall back.

The Bone Controller took the field on its own initiative.

Its Main Body was small and slight, yet with every step it took, its Body Size grew larger.

All the shattered bones of the Skeleton Mammoths were absorbed by the Bone Controller.

Before long, a twenty-meter-tall Bone Giant took shape.

Its massive body, twice as tall as a Giant Thunder Mammoth, silenced every spectator.

They seemed to recall the terror of being ruled by the Bone Controller from the Abyssal Realm Battlefield promotional film.

Cold sweat broke out on Elephant Lord's brow at the sight of the Bone Giant's enormous body.

The combat strength of the strongest Heroic Lifeform was no empty claim. It was experience the Divine Realm Civilization had distilled from hundreds of millions of wars.

He now somewhat regretted not destroying the Bone Controller at all costs the moment he learned that Han Wu possessed the Heroic Lifeform: Bone Controller.

But it was too late for regrets. Elephant Lord could only go all out.

He gathered the last of the divine power within him and cast a divine art once more.

Savage Divine Art: Enlargement!

The Enlargement divine art consumed too much divine power. Elephant Lord could only bestow it upon his sole Heroic Lifeform: the Giant Thunder Mammoth.

Bolstered by the divine art, the Giant Thunder Mammoth's Body Size surged.

In the blink of an eye, it had grown into a colossal creature as tall as the Bone Giant.

To prevent the giant creatures' battle from affecting others, Han Wu and Elephant Lord tacitly had their remaining followers withdraw from the central battlefield, clearing a space for the two of them.

Neither held anything back as they launched into battle.

The Giant Thunder Mammoth activated Thunder Charge. Lightning blazed across its two tusks as they pierced into the Bone Giant's body at tremendous speed.

Two massive gashes were instantly torn open across the Bone Giant's body, faint arcs of electricity flickering along the wounds.

But that level of Destructive Power was nothing to the Bone Giant.

Instead, it gave the Bone Giant an opening to attack. It fiercely seized the Giant Thunder Mammoth's trunk and, before every spectator's eyes, executed an Overhead Slam.

This was no ordinary Overhead Slam, but a skill enhanced with additional damage.

It was one of the ten Level 1 Melee Skills Han Wu had specifically purchased to bolster the Bone Giant's close-combat abilities.

After comprehending the ten melee skills, the Bone Controller's Main Body remained weak, but once it assembled into the Bone Giant, its strength skyrocketed and its Destructive Power multiplied.

The Giant Thunder Mammoth was the Bone Controller's first test subject for proving its strength.

The Giant Thunder Mammoth's Blood Qi Shell shattered when it hit the ground, though its Main Body did not suffer much damage.

It had intended to get back up and continue fighting the Bone Giant, but it never expected the Bone Giant to give it no chance at all.

The Bone Giant actually swung itself sideways onto the Giant Thunder Mammoth's back, then brought its huge fists down on the Giant Thunder Mammoth's head with a BAM! BAM! BAM!

It was using a skill again.

Level 1 Skill: Heavy Punch.

After taking several blows, the Giant Thunder Mammoth finally gathered enough strength to roll to its feet. Thinking to follow up with a Thunder Stomp combo while the Bone Giant was being thrown off its body, it moved to strike.

But it had not expected the Bone Giant to be so cunning.

After being flung to the ground, it used another Level 1 Skill: Roll, escaping the Giant Thunder Mammoth's Attack Range. Then, with a powerful Flying Kick, it sent the Giant Thunder Mammoth crashing to the ground once again.

It then mounted the Giant Thunder Mammoth again and answered it with a barrage of old-fashioned punches, every blow landing on its face.

After several punches, the Bone Giant even snapped off one of the enormous tusks that marked the Giant Thunder Mammoth's identity.

Elephant Lord was completely dumbfounded.

He had never imagined that the Heroic Lifeform he had painstakingly raised—the Giant Thunder Mammoth—would be so fragile before the Bone Giant.

The Giant Thunder Mammoth was equally stunned.

As a Heroic Lifeform, it already possessed intelligence of its own.

Having a tusk snapped off was, to it, an elephant's greatest humiliation.

It struggled madly to fight back, but the Bone Giant rolled aside to evade it, then seized another chance to kick it down again and keep hammering its face with heavy punches.

And every blow targeted its other tusk, as if it intended to snap that one off too.

This fight was downright dazzling.

Even Han Wu himself had not expected the Bone Controller to possess such a thorough grasp of close-quarters combat.

Not only could it apply what it learned with flexibility, it had even added its own unique insights.

It had practically turned close-quarters combat into highway robbery.

Even while fighting, it did not forget to snatch a few things from its opponent.

Excellent!

Han Wu was extremely satisfied.

At the same time, he looked toward the other Skeleton Race Heroic Lifeform.

Back then, he had told both of them to improve their means of survival. The Bone Controller had learned close-quarters combat, while the Bone Reviver had learned Defense Skills.

He wondered how well the Bone Reviver had learned them.

Han Wu found himself looking forward to it.

While Han Wu was lost in thought, the Giant Thunder Mammoth's other tusk was finally snapped off by the Bone Giant.

Relying on brute force, the Giant Thunder Mammoth broke free from the Bone Giant's control once again.

Yet it did not continue attacking. Instead, like an aggrieved little wife, it ran back to the Elephant Lord's side.

Its hide was thick and its flesh tough, so the wounds on its body were nothing serious.

But with both tusks broken, the Giant Thunder Mammoth had lost all face and refused to keep fighting.

The Elephant Lord had not expected this situation either. While comforting the Giant Thunder Mammoth, he commanded the Giant Mammoths to surround and attack the Bone Giant, avenging the Giant Thunder Mammoth.

If it could not win one-on-one, then it could only resort to the dumbest yet simplest method: a group assault.

Even if they had to wear it down, they would exhaust the Bone Giant!
