Obito sensed that something was wrong.
The Black Zetsu wrapped around his leg was currently invading and taking control of his body.
This was definitely not the usual process of turning into an eye and a right arm.
"Obito, since you've failed, contribute your body!"
Black Zetsu bared its fangs... Mother's resurrection required Madara as a vessel. For now, it needed to use Obito to revive him first.

"You actually dare betray me!"
Obito panicked a little.
