Jiraiya, Asuma, and others fought Otsutsuki Toneri and Hiruko while Tang Ping kept Akatsuki from joining the battle. The fight grew more dangerous when Naruto charged in, leaving Tang Ping to explain the youth’s reputation to Konan.

Tang Ping planned to secure the Earth-Moon Passage while Hinata Cang Yue remained behind to master the Giant Tenseigan and digest the All-Killing Ash Bones.
