Lu Ce listened to Joy's words, then mechanically turned his head and said with a smile:
"What consequences could there be? You came here to play a game, so of course you do whatever you want. Isn't that how it's played?"
Joy's eyes narrowed slightly as Joy looked at Lu Ce stepping forward, saying nothing for a long while.
Though there was still a smile in Joy's eyes, Joy's expression had grown far more serious—despite the fact that Sin was merely standing there, had broken the rules, and had even reduced the number of chips on their side.
Yet Joy felt that Joy's former sense of having every part of the game firmly under control had been shaken somewhat.
Because of the unpredictability of the human before Joy!
He could not possibly have acted because he could no longer endure the black flames, wanting to resist and rush out of the Black Box.
He had definitely done it on purpose. He had deliberately made that choice so suddenly, without the slightest opening or warning...
Such a strange choice represented uncertainty—something beyond control.
At the very least, Joy had no idea what this fellow's goal was.
It was laughable. Since entering this game, Joy had not spent as much thought on the game itself as Joy had spent on Sin during this short time.
Joy did not want to admit it, but Joy seemed to feel a certain wariness toward this fellow.
Yet it was the truth. Aside from the distinctly different aura around him and his feeble strength, every one of his actions carried that absurd yet core-piercing quality...
Everywhere, there were traces of that person!
Seeing that Joy was no longer provoking him, Lu Ce walked up to the gaming table and casually draped one hand over the Arbiter's
