Ang hovered in the air, his sharp gaze sweeping across the battlefield. He quickly locked onto the three strongest Lizardman Great Warriors in the enemy ranks.
They were clearly taller than ordinary people, with broad shoulders, dark earth-colored skin, and bone blades wrapped in roaring battle intent. They radiated the oppressive presence of beasts from the mountains.
"Dana, a Lizardman Great Warrior is closing in from your front left," Ang quietly warned through the Magic Communicator.
"Ang, let him come." Dana narrowed his eyes on the ground, his tone carrying a trace of longing.
He stood amid the rubble, both hands gripping the heavy Bone Crusher battleaxe. His footing was as steady as a boulder, as though he were waiting for an inevitable collision.
Ang paused slightly, his bow shifting as he gave up the chance to shoot that Lizardman Great Warrior.
Before long, the Lizardman Great Warrior smashed through the dirt and charged over. With an angry roar, he raised his enormous bone blade and collided with Dana without hesitation.
The bone blade and Bone Crusher struck fiercely, scattering sparks. The shockwave shattered the surrounding stones and dead grass, kicking up a ring of dust.
Dana immediately felt the pressure. This fellow's strength and reactions were almost no weaker than his own, and might even have surpassed him slightly.
But he did not retreat. Instead, his eyes grew hotter as he continuously probed his opponent through attack and defense, quickly adapting to the other's rhythm.
The two fought like savage beasts tearing at each other in the center of the battlefield. Any ordinary Lizardman Warriors who came near were swept into the vortex of battle and ripped into bloody chunks before they could even react.
