The Chaos Armament swayed gently with his steps. His gaze was cold and calm, revealing neither joy nor anger.
The elves followed one after another. Their once-proud, upright figures now seemed bowed, as though they bore heavy shackles.
Seeing this, the experts of the various races outside exchanged looks, each wondering what had happened in that space just now.
The elves' dejected appearance made everyone realize that things were likely very different from what they had imagined.
"Natiya." Ang spoke in a calm voice that carried unquestionable authority.
Hearing her name, Natiya immediately hurried over.
She looked up at Ang, her eyes filled with urgency and concern. "Ang, is it settled?"
Ang nodded slightly, his tone indifferent. "From today onward, these elves are under your command. Teach them the rules."
"Also, make a separate list of those whose strength has reached Great Warrior or Archmage. Take them along next time we go to the God-Demon Battlefield."
Natiya's heart jolted, and a complicated emotion flashed through her eyes, but she still nodded solemnly.
She turned and walked toward the Elf Queen, whose robes remained immaculate even as her expression looked haggard.
"Your Highness..." Natiya called softly.
"You need not say anything." The Elf Queen's voice was hoarse, yet it retained a measure of lofty pride. "This was our choice."
Natiya froze for a moment and sighed inwardly.
She knew Ang would never easily spare these elves, but preserving their lives was already the best possible outcome.
As she scanned the crowd, she noticed that one person seemed to be missing. She hurriedly counted them in her mind, and only after confirming that just one was gone did she breathe a slight sigh of relief.
