Early the next morning, Nicholas gathered everyone and headed for the airship port. Since Ang had informed everyone the day before, they were all ready when Nicholas issued the summons. They assembled on time, carrying their luggage as they made their way to the airship port in an orderly fashion. By the time they boarded, it was nearly noon, but fortunately, they did not have to wait long before the airship began to rise.
Standing on the deck, Ang watched Aktobe City recede into the distance. The surrounding passengers waved farewell to the people below. Though he did not have anyone particularly familiar down there, he still copied the other passengers and gave a gentle wave, as if bidding one last farewell to this experience.
Once the airship entered a stable airflow layer, the flight gradually smoothed out, and it began heading toward Akreli. This was a direct route from Aktoobe to Akreli, with no stops in other provinces or cities along the way. It would fly straight to its destination. For Ang, this was undoubtedly a long journey, and the perfect opportunity to spend some time on research.
During the first few days, Ang mostly stayed in his cabin, concentrating on the Rune Tablet in his hands. He shared the cabin with Qatar and Herax. Qatar and Herax had left early for the airship's entertainment room to relax, while Ang immersed himself in the mysteries of the runes. After several days of careful study, he had finally uncovered a few patterns and connections between the two runes. However, combining them to produce a practical effect was still somewhat difficult given his current mastery of magic. Still, he had plenty of time and was in no rush for results.
Whenever he grew tired of researching, Ang would leave his cabin
