Before long, the guard from the Tall Tower hurried downstairs and reported to Ang, "My lord, that mage has already left. He didn't fly toward Pat City; he entered the Ula Mountains directly from the edge of the territory."

Ang frowned slightly at this, suspicion rising in his heart. After pondering for a moment, he instructed, "Over the next few nights, keep a particularly close watch. Report any disturbance immediately."

"Yes, my lord!" The guard immediately accepted the order and returned to his post.

Not long after, Aisha came running over as well, her expression carrying a hint of worry. "Brother, where is that person? Is there a problem?"

Ang shook his head, his tone calm yet firm. "Don't worry about it. Just focus on your own work. No matter what happens these next few days, don't show yourself. Understand?"

Seeing the serious expression on her brother's face, Aisha said nothing more. She nodded in agreement and quietly left.

On the first night, the territory remained peaceful. The guards atop the Tall Tower kept watch over their surroundings, but they found nothing unusual. Even so, Ang did not relax. He knew well that truly dangerous enemies were often skilled at hiding.

The second and third nights were just as calm. Even Aisha could not help saying to Ang, "Brother, I think you might be too nervous. Maybe that person really was just passing through?"

But Ang shook his head, his gaze still wary. "Perhaps. But we can't let our guard down. Only by preparing for danger before it arrives can we protect everyone."

Seeing this, Aisha said no more and went back to her own work.

On the fourth night, Ang finished a day's work and was preparing to head up to the Tall Tower to check on the guards.
