When Ang stepped out of the portal, the familiar atmosphere of the North Wind Territory rushed over him, the air carrying the distinct scent of winter.
Although he had spent some time on the Archipelago Plane, each return to this land where he had once lived still filled him with a trace of warmth.
Standing beside the portal, he heard Aisha's voice.
"Brother, why did it take so long for you to contact us this time?" Aisha approached from the side, her steps light, though her eyes held a hint of confusion.
"I was too busy recently, preparing to land on the mainland of the Archipelago Plane," Ang explained, smiling as he ruffled his sister's hair. "Is everything alright in the North Wind Territory?"
Aisha's eyes lit up, and she hurriedly said, "Everything's fine. Northern Savage Town has expanded again and attracted many people. While you were away, everyone worked hard on construction, and trade has become more active than before."
She shared the news excitedly, and Ang felt relieved.
"That's good." Ang nodded, then asked, "Have Mesa and Meyers given birth?"
"They gave birth over a month ago." Aisha's voice carried unconcealed joy. "A boy and a girl. Mother is absolutely thrilled and spends all day taking care of the children."
Her words were filled with warmth. Clearly, the changes in their family had made her deeply happy.
"Give Mother my regards." Ang smiled faintly, his heart filled with long-lost warmth.
Aisha blinked, then suddenly asked in a low voice, "Brother, why have you come back this time?" There was anticipation in her voice, but also a trace of worry.
