As for the task of opening a route between Amnath and Fortress of Will, the Military Department handed it over to Kodo Roland's allied army, meaning Ang had been almost completely excluded.
If he had not cleared out the lizardman tribes in the Amna Region back then, he probably would not even have the land he currently occupied, and might have been pushed out entirely.
On the day of the handover ceremony, Kodo Roland gave Ang a slightly respectful smile. "Commander Ang, congratulations on your promotion to Defense Officer of Amnath City," he said with a smile.
Ang could not help but give a bitter smile. "Defense Officer? It's nothing but an empty title."
He looked at the Amnath City still being planned before him. The vast area marked on the blueprint made him sigh. "Construction here will probably take a long time. It may not show results anytime soon."
Kodo smiled and said teasingly, "Given the speed
