After traveling for more than a month, Ang finally reached the source of Valagajudi—the Milaginbi Mountains.
The Milaginbi Mountains stretched endlessly. Under the sunlight, the silver-white snowcap of the main peak gleamed brilliantly, as though inlaid with golden light.
The map provided by the Empire listed only the name of this mountain range, without identifying the individual peaks within it.
Following the map, Ang chose to climb upstream along the river that originated in the mountains.
He encountered many Magical Beasts along the way. Some were relatively easy to deal with, and Ang eliminated them without hesitation. When he encountered Magical Beasts he could not handle, he detoured around them and proceeded cautiously.
One day, a month later, Ang reached the mountainside of a peak in the Milaginbi Mountains and discovered his first Mountain Lizardman tribe.
Unlike the Wetland Lizardmen, the Mountain Lizardmen had more varied skin colors. Some had yellow skin, some light yellow, and some even had beige skin.
Ang had once used Shapeshifting in Valagajudi to disguise himself as a Wetland Lizardman, with light green skin.
To blend into this new environment, he carefully adjusted his disguise, turning his skin a light yellow closer to that of the Mountain Lizardmen.
