As a terrorist organization, the Akatsuki Organization was cheap, powerful, and had an excellent reputation in the industry.

This was common knowledge.

At the very least, Ōnoki knew it. Recently, he had been relying on middlemen to skim profits and fleece Akatsuki.

Since the Akatsuki Organization was so useful, Ōnoki had a wild idea. He secretly spent a hefty sum to hire them to attack the Hidden Cloud Village.

The Hidden Stone Village and the Hidden Cloud Village were bitter enemies now.

During the Second Shinobi World War, the Hidden Cloud Village had suddenly attacked the Land of Earth at the most critical point of the war.

They had even nearly reached the Hidden Stone Village at one point.

Ōnoki had long hated the Hidden Cloud Village to the bone and written them down in his little notebook.

During the Third Shinobi World War, Chen had tricked Ōnoki and used Dust Release to kill the Third Raikage. After that, the Fourth Raikage had raised an army and fought the Hidden Stone Village to the death.

After all that, Ōnoki had long wanted revenge, but he had never found an opportunity.

Since the Akatsuki Organization was so useful, he handed this mission to them and had them attack the Hidden Cloud Village.

Even if they failed, they could still disgust the Fourth Raikage a little.
