The Hall of Souls had quite a few branch halls scattered throughout the Central Plains.

Among them, twenty-four branch halls were relatively important, and the Hall of Souls referred to them as the Earth Fiend Halls.

The branch hall that Wei Yang and the others had destroyed when they rescued Elder Yao from the Mountain Range of the Departed Souls last time was one of the Twenty-Four Earth Fiend Halls.

Above the Earth Fiend Halls were the Heavenly Stems Halls, which were the Hall of Souls' true core branch halls.

There were three Heavenly Stems Halls in total: the Heaven, Earth, and Human Halls.

The Heaven Hall was the headquarters of the Hall of Souls. It was normally personally guarded and overseen by Soul Extinction, the Hall of Souls' hall master, a mid-phase Five-Star Dou Saint who possessed a Sub-Flame of Nihility Devouring Flame. It was extremely mysterious; aside from the Hall of Souls' innermost upper echelon, outsiders basically had no idea where it was located.

The Earth and Human Halls outside the Heaven Hall were not as mysterious as the Heaven Hall, but that was only relative. The world still knew very little about them.

The Earth Hall was where the Hall of Souls Vice Hall Master, a late-phase Three-Star Dou Saint, held authority and stood guard.

The Human Hall, meanwhile, was guarded and overseen by core figures such as the mid-phase Two-Star Dou Saint, Great Heavenly Venerate; the high-level Half-Saint, Second Heavenly Venerate Saint Bone You; and the low-level Half-Saint, Third Heavenly Venerate.

These three Heavenly Stems Halls were considered the Upper Three Halls and gathered all the Hall of Souls' most core upper-echelon figures.
