The Chaos Source that wielded the War Authority.
What an ancient title.
In the earliest era, these Chaos Sources had stirred up countless wars, bringing fear to innumerable living beings.
Then they were defeated.
They lost that Deity War.
Their bodies fell into slumber, and their Authority was seized.
They should have truly died, yet they came back to life through false Authority.
Then they fled to the Dream World and became Old Gods.
The false Authority preserved the Old Gods' lives and power, but it could only do that much.
Authority was a direct path to Rank 7. To become stronger, Deities needed followers.
Yet false Authority could not separate a follower's understanding of a Deity from their faith.
To release it, they could only absorb it.
One point or two had little effect on a Deity.
But as time accumulated, quantitative change led to qualitative change.
Deities changed because of faith, even going mad, and corruption was born from this.
Gradually, the Dream Plane became saturated with corruption.
The people living in the Dream World began to go mad as well.
They believed it was the Deities' punishment.
They did not know that the corruption they faced was merely dust shed from the Deities' bodies.
For Old Gods, more followers meant greater strength, but also stronger corruption to endure.
If they could not bear it, they became monsters of corruption.
The former Chaos Source was now nothing more than a beast that could not even control its own body.
Even the Chaos Source's followers would never have imagined that this hedgehog-like monster, covered from head to toe in all kinds of weapons, was their Deity.
Fallen Old Gods would no longer be recognized by the other Old Gods.
They would become the flesh-and-blood source for creating Hostile Alien
