"Let's go. Hopefully the others found something."
The two goblins headed toward the chimney.
The room had a very old-fashioned style, with no mechanical equipment. Everything was furniture that required manual operation.
Inside the chimney was a hidden passage. Clumps of earth protruded from the walls, forming convenient footholds for climbing.
After about three minutes, they climbed to the top.
Aite knocked on the stone bricks above. "It's me."
The stone bricks covering the top were quickly moved aside, and several little goblins poked their heads out.
"Uncle Aite, Sister Sina!"
Aite flew into a rage. "Call me big brother!"
"I won't! Sister Sina, save me..."
These goblins did not live underground. Instead, they lived on the surface.
But could such a crude hiding method really evade the goblins' surveillance?
At that moment, a much sturdier goblin ran over and stopped their horseplay. "Aite, Elder Sina is looking for you two."
The two goblins put away their smiles and patted the little goblins on the shoulders. "The elder has business with us. Go play by yourselves for now."
"..."
"Doli, is there not enough food?"
Doli shook his head. "It doesn't seem like the elder called for you because of food. I don't know the specifics either. Hurry over. The elder seems a little anxious."
Aite said, "Got it. We'll go over as soon as possible."
They hurried beneath a large tree, but did not immediately go looking for the elder.
Instead, they respectfully bowed to the tree before entering a small wooden hut beside it.
"Elder, we're here."
The goblin they called elder was extremely old, with hair and brows already gray-white.
Judging by the way he trembled even while walking, he likely did not have much time left.
The elder said, "Tell the other goblins not to go
