After the battle, Chen Yi told the remaining players and Reincarnators to hide, while Lai Sanbian and the other System Hosts tried to understand the enemy's plan and prepare for another fight.

• Lai Sanbian warned the System Hosts to stay hidden, and a powerful man on another island heeded the warning.

The Undead Calamity began as Fu Siyi unleashed an army that overwhelmed the world’s nations and trapped the Reincarnators. As the planet erupted in silver flames, survivors wondered whether the Deity was punishing them.

• The Elementary School Student spotted a vast Undead Spirit army, and the Reincarnators fled as the creatures destroyed their ship.
• Fu Siyi’s plan revealed that the Undead Spirits would multiply by turning the dead into new troops and grow stronger by consuming one another.
• The Undead Spirit army invaded across sea, land, and sky, destroying Flower Country and a third of the nations within hours.
• The Reincarnators fought from a small island until Sima Yurén weakened and Ge Feifei took his shift.
• The planet shook, and silver flames erupted from volcanoes and fissures, burning the Undead Spirits as survivors questioned whether this was punishment from the Deity.

Chen Yi’s Heart Fire spread across the planet, forcing Fu Siyi and the other survivors to choose between fighting back and searching the Mirror World for the Heart of the World. In the mirror, Lai Sanbian encountered Chen Yi, Amaterasu, and a dark armored figure, and Chen Yi ordered them to attack.

• Chen Yi announced that Reincarnators who had signed the Letter Paper would be safe from the flames and should meet him at the planet’s core.
