It was the end of the month again! Twenty-seven days had passed this month, and I had updated a total of more than 433,000 words.
Whenever the last few days of the month came around, my whole body fell into a period of exhaustion, like a string pulled too taut, on the verge of snapping.
My updates had been getting later and later recently. It really was not intentional, and it was not even procrastination—I just slept terribly.
Wanting to sleep six hours a day was an arduous process for me. It took more than ten hours, with half that time spent trying to fall asleep, and I still had to sleep in two or three separate stretches.
These past few days, my updates had been around 14,000 words, not as much as the days before.
But I had basically never gone out. My WeChat step count was in the single digits, and I did not even have time to go out for a haircut. I only had one-third of a tablet of eszopiclone sleep aid left. I had wanted to go to the hospital for more medicine today, but I did not even have the time.
Tomorrow, I will go to the hospital for medicine. Over the next few days, I will do my utmost to adjust my sleep and my update schedule.
I hope that starting next month, I can move the update times for the two chapters a little earlier.
