A Few Things, Everyone Please Take a Look!

Once again, I wrote until five in the morning, and this chapter still wasn't finished. I'm going to sleep first.

I'll be leaving for Shanghai tomorrow to attend the China Literature Group annual meeting, so I'll probably have to finish this chapter on the train.

There will be events over the next two days, but I'll definitely seize every moment to write, ensuring that I still update more than ten thousand words every day.

I'll write at the hotel, on the train, in the recording studio—anywhere.

But I might not be able to reach fifteen or sixteen thousand words. Still, I'll do my utmost.

Also, I mentioned the day before yesterday that something had happened at home, and everyone was very concerned.

Let me report back to everyone here: it wasn't an argument with my wife. My darling is very easy to coax; whenever we argue, we never take more than half a day to make up. Even if we did argue, it wouldn't count as any kind of emotional conflict.

Since it's a private family matter, I won't say any more about it.

The consequences are difficult to undo. We can only let time smooth them over, and I'll try my best to do better in my role within the family.

These past two days, my mood and state of mind have been greatly affected, so every chapter has taken a long time to write, making my updates later than before.
